I’ve just added submission links for each story that appear on Bookmach.com, so now it’s a snap to submit massive amounts of stories about Obama (or anything else.)

In addition to Digg and Reddit I’ve included Slashdot and Delicious… I’ll take requests for any other popular sites as well.

The links are immediately above the credit line of each story. Just click on the icon resembling your favorite site and watch the karma roll in!

I’ve made some changes to the Bookmach search engine, so some of you may notice the searches are a bit speedier now. There’s a new option on the Preferences page which lets you set how far back in time you want to search… the default is now one month, which is much faster than searching the whole archive.

This has to do with the size of the vector-based index, which grew because of the multitude of acronyms, slang and technogobbledygook that’s to be found when adding a thousand blog posts per hour…

If you need to search the whole archive, or more than just the past month, select a timespan using the dropdown right after “email” on the Preferences page.

If I had to pick one word I’d say: Revealing. And, incredible.

I’ve recently experimented with the links on Bookmach result pages; the excerpt for each link that used to be a pop-up is now underneath it as a short paragraph… let me know if you like or dislike the change.
